ABOUT OUR FOUNDER
Meet Mir
Mir is a qualified teacher specialising in A-Level Chemistry with more than 15 years' teaching and tutoring experience.
He has taught students across AQA, OCR and Edexcel and founded SciencebyMir to provide the structured teaching, practice and accountability that students often struggle to receive consistently in larger classroom settings.
As SciencebyMir has grown, Mir has developed a team of subject-specialist teachers supporting GCSE Science and selected A-Level subjects while he remains focused primarily on A-Level Chemistry.

Mir is a qualified GCSE science tutor with A-level Chemistry specialism and a 100% pass rate for nearly a decade across all major exam boards. Having taught 100s of students over the past decade and with extensive experience at an outstanding London-based school has the skills and interventions needed to ensure all students achieve better than their predicted grades. Mir has complete knowledge of the current and previous curriculums for AQA GCSE, OCR biology, and Edexcel exam boards.
Mir is a confidence-building online science tutor with an engaging approach where he creates a personalised plan with each of the students.
